You can generally use our website without providing personal data. Where personal data (such as name, address or email addresses) is collected on our pages, this is always done on a voluntary basis. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent. This website is transmitted over an encrypted connection (SSL/TLS), recognizable by "https://" in your browser's address bar. We note that data transmission over the internet (e.g. when communicating by email) may nevertheless have security vulnerabilities; complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.
If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form (name, company, email address, phone number, desired product and message) will be processed for the purpose of handling the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR. The form submits your message directly from our server to our mailbox at info@metallschilder.de; your data is not stored in a database on the server beyond what is needed for spam protection (see our German privacy policy for the full technical detail, which governs). We do not pass on your data without your consent.
Emails resulting from an inquiry are deleted once the inquiry has been fully processed and no statutory retention obligations (e.g. commercial or tax law retention periods in the event of a contract) apply.
On our contact page we embed a map from the Google Maps mapping service, operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). When the contact page is accessed, a connection is established to Google's servers, which may also transmit your IP address and possibly further data to Google LLC in the USA. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing a clear description of directions (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Insofar as data is transferred to the USA, Google states that it relies, among other things, on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (an adequacy decision of the EU Commission) as a basis for transfer. Further information on data processing by Google can be found in Google's privacy policy.
This website uses "Google Fonts", a service of Google Ireland Limited, for the consistent display of typefaces. When a page is accessed, your browser loads the required fonts from Google's servers (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com), transmitting your IP address to Google in the process. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a technically flawless and visually appealing presentation of our website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Here too, data may be transferred to the USA; the explanations on the Data Privacy Framework in section 4 apply accordingly.
Our website currently does not use any analytics or marketing cookies. Should cookies that are not technically necessary be used in the future, we will obtain your consent for this per Section 25 TDDDG.
The provider of our website automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser automatically transmits to us (browser type/version, operating system used, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the server request, IP address). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the technical provision, stability and security of our website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). This data is not merged with other data sources and is generally automatically deleted after seven days at the latest, unless it is needed to clarify a specific security incident.
This website is hosted by the following external service provider:
United Domains AG, Gautinger Straße 10, 82152 Martinsried, Germany
A data processing agreement per Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider. Data generated during operation (including server log files per section 7) is processed exclusively for the technical provision and security of the website.
You have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of the data processing, as well as a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Please contact us at the email address given above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority.
We hereby object to the use of contact details published as part of our legal notice obligation for sending unsolicited advertising and informational materials. We expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited advertising, such as spam emails.
